Tommaso Caffarini

Tommaso Caffarini was a fully devoted follower of Catherine and led the charge after her death to canonize her. He collected a series of testimonies titled, Processo Castellano which gathered messages from her followers, mostly male, that supported her saintly life. He also wrote the Libellus Supplemento that accompanied Raymond of Capua’s Legenda Maior, the main hagiography written about on her life. He was a Dominican Friar and not well connected politically or socially like her other followers but there is no question that he was completely devoted to Catherine.
